Emergencies & 911

My work hours are M-Th 10am-7pm, F 10am-5pm. It may take me 24-48 hours to get back to you during these hours. I am not available outside of these hours. This means that I am usually not your best resource if an emergency or urgent need arises.

I provide all my clients with crisis support resources and/or mobile psychiatric crisis lines that do not work with the police.

I have worked hard to divest from carceral/police-affiliated services and invest in justice-centered and harm reduction resources. That being said, as a Registered Associate with the Board of Behavioral Sciences, I have a legal and ethical duty to take reasonable steps to intervene when a client is at risk to harm themselves or others. This may include suicide/homicide assessment, safety planning, harm reduction, increasing the frequency of our contact, bringing in loved ones when appropriate, and, if necessary, calling 911. I welcome any and all questions you may have about this.
